  Definitely Pasadena. MUCH nicer...but also pretty exensive. I have friends from college who live there and pay an arm and a leg for a1 bdrm apartment.

  BUT.. Old Town Pasadena is MUCH safer and much nicer than anything in Hollywood IMHO.
