toastie,
that's a matter of opinion. the reason why you're saying ATI's are better than NVIDIA's is only because Tomshardware specifically did those testings while running the new gaming engines that allow for image-based lighting techniques and more memory intensive dynamics.I have a Quadro 4 980XGL and it works great for me while running Maya 6 and 3DS Max 6. However, when I had an ATI, it didn't run quite as smooth.
Different cards are built for different things. I just hope you're not assuming that ATI is better than NVIDIA simply because of an article that was specified for specific games for specific cards....you know?
