Mimio - there are different schools of thought within the Creationist camp about the age of humans and the earth. There is room for debate there.
One thing is certain carbon dating is about as reliable as my bowels. So careful about what you read regarding what the "experts" say. Look at both sides. Some goodies (as is my custom to share):
