    here in massachusetts, homosexuals have been allowed to marry for a couple of months now. Surprisingly, the earth hasn't split open, the sky hasn't turned dark as sackcloth, and nobody has turned into salt pillars.
    It's hardly news anymore. Also, nobody's tried to marry their dog or an ice cream cone, as was predicted by those opposed to it. The state was worried about losing revenue from well-earning homosexual couples suddenly drawing married tax rates, but so far so good.
    What's the big deal? If you're against gay marriage, don't have one. The only thing that gets violated in this situation is a select group's belief that they should have absolute sway over other people's behavior.
