i lost my wallet once. looked EVERYWHERE! in a panic i called and cancelled all my cards and got replacements. a month later i found it in a pair of dirty jeans. F*CK! what a mess i got myslef into.
you know what you can do. some banks have a, i don't know what it's really called, but you can basically sign up for this protection that they have all of your credit card info. if you lose your wallet you call one number and that automatically freezes all of your cards without having to call each place individually. i did it and they give you small red stickers to put on the back of your cards. if stolen and someone tries to use them they'll pretty much see that this card is protected and most likely frozen, so if they try to use it the authorities will be notified and almost guaranteed arrested on the spot. very effective.
