I left my wallet on the train on the way to my boys on friday. I thought I'd never see it again. It had everything in- money, cards, drivers licence, return train ticket etc etc. So I cancelled my cards. Then on monday I got a note from the Post Office saying I'd missed the delivery of a package. I went to the PO (having no idea what I was collecting) and it turned out to be my wallet and all its contents. Some random person had found it and posted it to me by recorded delivery. It made my day and restored some of my faith in the human race!
I sent them a nice little note back and enclosed £10. :)
