    *Yawn* I've responded to this before.

    There's a major flaw with that theory, and it's that the U.S. Dollar could only be strengthened by war. There are plenty of ways to spend a couple hundred billion besides fighting an imaginary war, like spending them at home, strategically as to prevent inflation, over 4 years.

    Bush's Rich Friends still could have gotten richer but without occupation of a country.

    And so, as the dollar is still very weak, Oil trading at almost double the price it was a few years ago and worldwide criticism mounting, the U.S. still remains the world's only Super-Power. And no, the EU is not a single Power, not yet and not in the forseeable future. This has always been the case with Europe, too many interests to solidify as one.
