i like his movies, i just think he's reaching more and more to come up with a twist ending. no, i didn't predict the ending of it, i just found that one a bit hard to swallow, much like the naked alien vs water bit.
i love the way he builds up suspense and sets up shots.as for the village:
they didn't send the girl out alone..there were two guys with her that turned back by themselves. The elders didn't get supplies because 'they took the oath', otherwise they could've just gone themselves and kept their little secret.also, somebody explain the color symbolism to me...why was red the bad color? was it because all the elders had somebody close to them offed? and why was ochre the good color?
