hey lee, that archive's excellent. was level from the guys who did skateboard, or am i misremembering?

for whoever asked, you can buy holgas from:

    http://www.holgamods.com/

you can get them elsewhere online for as little as $13, but everywhere seems constantly sold out. ebay usually has them at around the $20 mark.

i disagree with scarabin that lomographers are all trying to copy each other, but i don't know why people are dissing him for calling lomos 'instant-art' makers. that's what they're designed for.

with a regular camera, you can go out and shoot a roll of 36, and if you're not careful about what you do, they'll all turn out bad.

with a lomo, you can go out and do pretty much what you want, and 15 out of that 36 will look stylish and the average person will be impressed by them.

that's what lomo is all about - forget about all the exposure settings, forget about composition ('shoot from the hip') and just leave it up to the camera to make your subjects look good.
