Well, I actually commend you guys who converted. It's a very tough position to be in. I was lucky that my lady never really followed Islam (her father was from Pakistan and her mother is a Scot) and they raised their family in Canada, so it caused a lot of problems btwn her and her family, but Islam (or any other "organised religion") just wasn't right for her. So yeah, I didn't have to go through that part for her parents, thank Allah!
How commited are you guys to the religion? I know if I converted, sadly it would've just been for show. I think the principles and values are great, but the cultural aspects are the things that bother me about it.
