yeah, i had a whole load of shit with my old man, cos my wife's from Hong Kong, and he was all like "what are her motives? is she in it for a visa?" I've basically totally stopped talking to him, as he was also the same when his brother in law married a French-Morrocan woman (muslim), he made some fucking stupid comments, I guess he's just a country bumpkin, but it's hard to forgive and forget when someone totally doubts yours or your wife's motives. It sucks, and this kind of family turmoil is very painful
