try putting the scroll div absolutely positioned with its overflow set to "visible", inside of a absolutely positioned div that has a fixed height and it overflow set to "auto".....this has worked for me in 5.2 MAC when i needed it.....its sounds like a strange solution i know, but just give it a whirl
