Yes war, there are two kinds of intelligence at work, a 5th grade level or below, and a 6th grade level or below.

And actually, this makes a lot of sense, if the analogy:

If Mac users are at the 6th grade level, we've been thru 5th grade, we now know the answers and have moved on, some of us are in pre-algebra, some are not, but we're higher up than 5th grade. So, on the playground, we can make fun of you 5th graders because you're doing stuff we did upto and over a year ago.

Likewise, windows only does stuff that was done upto and over a year ago for mac. See how well this analogy plays out.

PC Users become are a different type of intelligence, but not a different species. (Like a retriever is different than a daschund, but still a dog). Eventually though, PC users reach the level of mac users, they're just a year or two behind (although with longhorn, it's more like 2-3 years). Once PC Users get to that level though, Mac users have already moved onto the 7th grade.

BTW for PC users, An analogy is a comparison in whichdifferent items are compared point by point, usually with the idea of explaining something unknown by something known. Analogies are offered to provide insights, and can be very instructive. Analogies tend to suggest that existing similarities imply even more similarities
