lol..you may really want to check out flashVars..that's if you want.
Which, if you really want it, allow you to write varibles that flash read, into the object and embed tags. that variable may set where you go in the timeline.
Macromedia has a technote on this or it's in the AS dictionary...if you really want to look at it.
