    I can fully recomend a similar set-up as ours, which is a G5 running, Avid Xpress Pro + Final Cut Pro HD, DVD Studio Pro 3, After Effects 6.5 Pro etc. If you start with a good platform (G5), you can upgrade to the high-end Avid titles over time as money allows (Adrenaline etc). Its also a pure pleasure working on projects which are to be DVD based with DVDSP3 - it rocks.
