    for working at home i use final cut pro, which is great if your on mac or using mac laptops but otherwise i'd go with AVID everytime...its an industry broadcast standard, and tho i'd say it is no better and certainly not cheaper than media 100 products it is an investment in skills which will be useful for the future...cheers.....are you gonna buy an avid system(hardware) or are you just buying "avid express" for a pc?
