I had to do the exactly the same job as you are doing.
flash > dvd > dvdpayer.
I was given 1 day to transpose flash movies onto dvd. the boss was like...."yeah..just burn em to dvd", the main problem is that i had movies within movies, and about 50 differtnt swf with complex actionscript, there was no way to export as .mov and to solve this i tried every swf to avi or mpeg converter on the plannet but still...no soup.
what i ended up doing (albeit dodgily) was getting camstasia studio and just recording the freakin screen, i though it would look so crappy but the codec that comes with this software was bloody good, animations done in ae and combustion were of equal quality, you couldnt tell the difference (it was projected presentation though). just have your stage at 720 px.a.r and 25 fps. This method may seem crazy but if you have to spend hours altering fla's and your given little time for little money, you gotta do what you gotta do.
