my powerbook is my video production horse. it captures, color corrects, handles 20 layers in AE while final cut, flash, photoshop and illustrator are running in the background. i love it. granted i have a gig and half of ram, but it runs flawless.
i got apple care just because shit can happen. i worked for compusa's warrenty division and saw some crazy stuff go south. Never experienced it personally, but shit can happen.
