my workplaces have gained loads from research i've done on nt. i've solved problems with help from people here that i wouldn't have been able to do by myself, or at least it would have taken longer than the time available. that said i probably waste more time here than i gain but i'm never on here when i've got a deadline biting me in the arse
it's good to be in touch with what's going on in the industry generally, shows your interested in your job!
