True - we actually have "memos" (like digital sticky notes) built in to send quick notes within the studio - the CMS is never meant to replace e-mail - just organize.
When you use Outlook you then take the images (that have to be small enough to e-mail, or else you use FTP, right? - with the CMS size doesn't matter + unlimited bandwidth with the hosting service we use) and then take the files from Outlook and place them in folders on your main project server for the design team. Why not just skip that process and have everything already organized when the client uploads? And its easy to track because it's always organized by project.
Like I said though, not meant to replace e-mails or other communication (telephone, fax, etc).
