wowsers...thanks for all the input. however, im still just stradling the fence. yeah and it bites! its a 6 days a week job, 9-10hr/day. But in the end, you can afford to buy things you would normally not buy...you can take care of family...pay off debts...invest into other things (property...etc), and in the end, you won't have to stress out and be a slave to your work. Thats what farming might get you I think.
As a graphic designer...its hard to imagine ever making $65+ anytime soon...and you'll always be working for somebody else (unless you got the balls to go on your own), you'd probably be spending most of your life paying for your home (if you get a nice one), but then again, you probably hardly ever complain about work, because you actually enjoy it! (for the most of us I assume!)
Both are huge sacrifices...both will have regrets as well. White collar job or blue collar job....love or money...man I cannot stop thinking about this decision and time is a tickin. Looking fwd to more ideas any of you guys have. Thanks for your input.
