I think their cannon fodder is directed at the wrong people.
Its like saying "Hey, don't you say anything bad about my government. I know they've traded weapons with current enemies. I know the leaders lie cheat and steal on the regular. But its MY government, so don't you go saying bad stuff about it."
That's American culture for you. Ignorant as hell and dodging responsibility like its going out of style.
