Gdiddy, I can apprehend what Jesus revealed about the Father. I believe he exemplified the heart of the Father. No one can apprehend the mysteries God in His infinite Triune nature. The Bible is clear about this.
The main reason I believe that the Bible is God's word is because of it's plan of redemption for mankind. It is why I believe that true Bible Christianity is not religion. Had I and some of my friends embarked on a Revelation of God it would have been all about human effort, behavior... "follow these 10 steps...""Do these Holy rituals" etc... Instead God said He would become flesh and live among us, sharing in our sufferings and ultimately living a perfect, sinless life in perfect exchange for our sinful lives. He would then die in His flesh upon a cross to redeem us back. Taking the punishment you and I should have. He asks only to accept this sacrifice on our behalf, by faith. Faith alone - no works... I know it's tough for our behavior orriented nature to accept. This is why I believe the Bible. A perfect plan - not religion.
