you should have just started sketching him. when he asked what you were doing, say you are practicing to be a portrait artist at an amusement park. Draw him with a really big head and a tiny body vacuuming or something.
Little known fact: the Kenny Rogers slot machine (that's right, it's a video poker slot called The Gambler or something) is not fun to play
