my girlfriend and i two weeks ago went to att&t to get her a new phone. some geek shlep was working the counter and was totally kissing up to her. he set her up with a $199 samsung flip phone (really nice phone) for $49 bucks. and then set her up with a nice plan for $49 a month and threw in 500 extra minutes. then he gave her a free car charger, leather case, and headset. mind you im standing right here as the fekking nurd shmoozes. then he totals everything up and it was $47.39. wtf?!? so i'm like fuck yeah, great deal! i want that too! my number is xxx-xxx-xxxx.
he goes 'sorry, you're not elligible until august'. now is there anything that i can do for you 'and turns back to my girlfriend.' i swear on all that is holy i was so close to sticking that cell phone up his ass.
so, to answer your question. samsung has a nice flipper phone. mMode and all that internet bullshit is a waste of money. i've used it once. why use a 100 pixel by 100 pixel slow ass phone when i have a 22 inch with a g4 powerhouse at home. duh...
