i'm pretty sure theres no signal on street level.. but if you're staying a few floors up and your window is looking onto Sutter.. you can steal a signal. mind you, you have to sit next to the window.. but thats where they put the coffee table/chair anyways.. so it works.
im going to be moving to san fran within the next few days, so kudos for putting together this list!
