i'm going out there tomorrow for more interviews, and i plan to move out there for good around the end of this month.
i found a nice apt. complex in burbank that i'm considering, and they offer 3 month leases, so i'm considering staying for at least 3 months while i try to find a place, or permanently if i like them enough. rent's a little steep for a 1BR, $1050/mo., but i expected that...
from what i've heard practically the only way to find a place that you're comfortable with is by driving around. a lot of places don't list vacancies, and photos on the internet are always a bit glorified and hard to judge
