top right hand side of the bill...side w/washington's mug on it.
between the top left outer part of the shield around the 1 and a leaf, there is a small dark space in the corner. there you will see a tiny little spider.
i had heard that it was there to pay homage to a tenatious civil war regiment of some kind who's symbol was a spider, but i've found no info to support that.
