you should have said a deer ran out in front of you. i did when they ended up totaling out my car 5500+ in repairs.
i actually fell asleep at the wheel and when the road went right i went left into some trees. thinking it was 4am and the cops would think i was drinking... um... which i only had 3 beers.... *cough*.... i backed my car out and drove 2 miles down where the road came over a hill and curved left and there were trees on the left. i pulled my car into the grass, hit the gas and ran it into the trees. got out and called 911, no need for an ambulance thank you, and a cop showed and i told him 'fuckin deer ran out in front of me'. took it hook line and sinker. insurance never went up.
