this is a little off track but this comment is a little rash
"Out of work designers are normally out of work for a reason. Becuase they suck. There are jobs out there if you got up off your asses and looked. And stop selling our industry short just because you didnt make the cut."
when i got laid off, I was out of work for 8 months in one full stint unsexypixel.
there wasnt any jobs going in the industry here and the job offer I managed to get in that time would have meant moving to another country in europe.
I managed to hold on a bit longer and eventually something came up here.
just to let you know every out of work designer would have given up if they thought like you.
a LOT of shit designers are IN work cos they talk bullshit
