they did have a lot of pressure but I thought we were coping with it well. Apart from the 20 minutes in the second half when we had no choice but to sit back and keep it tight. I agree it might of been a good idea to change gameplan but I don't think we were able to. Sometimes you can't dictate the game and we couldn't get hold of the ball so it was keep it tight and try to catch them on the break.
As for world class players I don't think we have as many as we like to think individually.
But as a team, in terms of spirit and commitment this is as good as we get.
Had we tried to play france off the park and go head to head it would of been a duck shoot and we would of been mullered.
We managed to keep Henry quiet for most of the game, Pires was taken off, Viera was wound up and Zidane resorted to long range efforts.
I think it worked well in the end, had the penalty gone in it would of been called a masterstroke.
Instead two mistakes and we are gutted...but once again we contribute to a fascinating game and by far better than any of the other games so far.
