    along with those, i also read a TON of euro comics growing up..
    ike Moebius and Phillipe Druillet

    but somehow i have a feeling my wife won't dig those as much as the other kids books...
    ;)

    still..i credit the kids books for giving me a love of reading
    and the euro comics for giving me a love for art and design...

    after all this time, i still can't understand how anyone can like north american comics in comparison to the stuff the stuff these guys were doing in the 70's
