DUde.... you can't describe a whole fuckin artform in a couple of paragraphs. There is a lot more to it than that. And what the hell - u think Websters's is an expert on documentary film making? Bullshit. It's not about fucking consensus - is what loudubs said - watching all those documentaries are deconstucting the whole idea. Words such as "factual accounts" don't mean shit. Read the philosophical terms for "truth" and "factual". Read Wittgenstein maybe. Those definitions reveal nothing about the true nature of documentaries. The present themselves and news/factual programmes deliberately to express a perspective. It's clear and implicit. That dictionary definition reveals nothing.
