jesus dude. I'm not arguing about anything.
Let me just break this down for u:
You said "I think everything is biased, you just gotta trust your instinct" - you were talking about the information you receive from the media. Implying that u shud instinctively know what is true and what is a lie.
I then said, that was very stupid - trusting something like instinct to tell the truth from the lie. You then implied that if you do not trust your instinct you will allow the office of homeland secrity to run ur lives (which is really stupid in itself).
I replied, that on issues such as what is truth and what is a lie, it is better to use reasoning. An act that comes BEFORE you accept what u're being told. i.e "hmmm, he says Bush is a liar, i will not trust my instinct on this, i will use reasoning to (which can involve analysis and is a thorough process) make up my mind instead of some weird gut feeling.
You then said that "reasoning FROM mis-informed mind is a dangerous thing". That's a word game you are playing. Because i implied that reasoning happens PRIOR to being informed; but u switched it around to imply that i was implying reasoning AFTER an "informed mind". In which case i could easily say that "using instinct from a mis-informed mind is a dangerous thing". Which, in this case, is even more true.
You see now?
