i agree, lose the lines and triangles, the concept is strong enough without them. it does feel like the dots and the wavy lines should be switched positions though; reading left to right, it feels more like the water is heading in to dirt and mud, not the other way around. i'd try a bolder font, or maybe just have one word be bolder.
