As a seasoned Laker fan I would have to respectfully disagree chedda. Malone is not an ego maniac, in fact he's the one who didn't so much as peep about shit this whole season whilst Gary Payton whined and bitched about his diminished role.
It was Malone in fact who saved the team this year- from being complacent as they were last season. Malone's work ethic at 40 years old no less is un surpassed on the team. He embarrassed fat ass shaq into hustle and even picked up a lot of shaq's slack inside.
Karl "200% Manwich" Malone is responsible for this season. How the fuck do you play on a team and get out hustled by a 40 year old man?? And the reason he played with the assists leader was because he completed the plays to give stockton all those assists. he ain't riding coat tails he is a legitimate contributer to this year's ALL MIGHTY ONEZ.
