Like I said, Appleinsider is the place to go. I've been following Apple tech since I had a Classic on my desk and MacWeek in my mailbox... can make you a few extra $ in the design field when you put it on your resume. You can tell the $100/hr techmonkies from an applereseller to stay at their place.
