I agree with Jevad, its one thing to being speaking out but another to perhaps needing to have some sensoring for younger viewers that may be around.
As far as why is our country going to shit? I think its already there, Our priorities, morals and virtues have not been particulary admirable for years, and people wonder why the rest of the country hates us, even though 'the US does so much for them", sometimes I guess that argument can be valid.
