For as rational as a man as I try to be, I buy into astrology simply because it fits my psyche in very deep ways.
I am controlling. I am self-destructive. I am extremely competitive, either with other people or within my own mind, and there is always in inner turmoil. The competitive side of myself will either dominate my life and feed my ego or lead me to being very reclusive. The path of the scorpio is transformation, change is a very big part of the scorpio life. and the way to transform is the scorpio's biggest challenge, surrender, because it goes agains the competitive, dominating, and egotistical tendencies.
Scorpios are the most mysterious of the signs and can be extremeley penetrating and forceful, and when they know what they want they can do it with an air of both empathy and cool detachment. Those are extremes I switch between, empathy and pure apathy.
