I'm am rotating it and scaling it a fair bit though... but even still normal text seesm to be faster...
Also, I'm using a lot of handwritten typefaces... and only good ones i could find are free ones... the trouble is because they are not proper bought ones does that emans they may not be as optimized as they should be? i.e have more curves/points than they need?
