"Don't remember the mistake, remember the lesson."
Regret-wise, I think asking a girl out 6 times over the course of a year and getting answers that started with maybes and ended in no was pretty stoopid. Added to that, the girl in question was very ill at the time and I couldn't have been helping, I was a bit blinded by 'love'.
