I'd go Toshiba all the way... Get the three year warranty and you're sported.. Great screen, nice looking.. great speakers (I got the one with the Harman/Kardon speakers and they are fantastic for a laptop)
I have mine running 24/7 and it never gives me any bother..
Highly Recommnded.
And I agree with statement about Dell.. good cusomter service and replacement policy ..
And IBM are the most rugged/reliable when it comes to dropping them and stuff like that.. so if you're out n about (say ur an architect on site fdr example) then they might be your best bet..
