Well u're meant to use the USB connection. There's no point having 35x transfer rate if ur using the optical connection. It doesn't give u any of that bullshit with mp3's. But i dont like their Sonic Stage software. U have to import all ur mp3s. Then Check em in. Then check em out onto MD. And if your burning off CD, then u'll have to MP3 it all first or whatever. I've never bothered getting a handle on it.
