not slow at all on my laptop... ooh what a surprise I'm not on a mac... also disagree with the programming overpowering the design... the design is nice and fluid... the typography might not be totally my bag... but it has some good original elements and has the feeling of being alive, rather than loads of little animations that most sites seem to consist of at the moment (how many ways are there for revealing content in a little box????)
