    You people are not blind, are you?
    The existing ad that is there is for something totally relevant to what we all do. It's a graphic design publication.
    It is not a:
    Starbucks ad
    ebay ad
    car insurance ad
    health provider ad
    travelocity ad
    Reebok ad
    cell phone ad
    etc...

    Come on now...
    From reading NT's description of their future advertising efforts it's worth assuming that they are gonig to take advertising from services and companies that HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE MAJOR REASON WE ALL VISIT NT.

    The advertisers get a great target audience for a variety of niche type of things, and some of us could benefit from seeing various ads here. Advertisers could run special promotion programs through NT. And it looks like it's just going to go over there to the left, it's not all that invasive or obtrusive.

    Ex: What if Epson ran an ad over there with a special price or something for printer ink?

    What if design magazines ran an ad (like right now) that get your interest?

    Many scenarios. I have no problem with it. Viva la Caviar!
