I have no problem with digital music, and it sure as hell makes it a lot cheaper to record, but thats the driving force behind the digital revolution, it's cheaper, therefore people can make a bigger profit off of it.
Vinyl does detriorate with scrating and over excessive play, but why is it that the library of congress keeps all recordings on vinyl vs CD. Better quality and if taken care of, last a lifetime. Thats why when you pull out you dads old albums they still sound great. CD deteriorate as well.
