First, if you look around you'll find old Vinyl cheap, you can get almost anything for 3-8 dollars round here if you look hard enough.
To Dancer, You are wrong in saying the CDs have better quality then records. Records reach lower frequencies as well as higher frequencies, that's why any good DJ still uses vinyl. Plus you'll find that any serious musician will tell you, although it can be more expensive, that Analog is the way to go, whether recording, playing with tube amps or playing records. It has a much warmer sound.
