You may be right about them trying to make back some money, but I've found that some newer records are sometimes much cheaper than the actual CD of the same album, so who knows. Maybe the record labels you are buying from aren't putting much effort into good pressing or subcontract the work. Stop buying new records, buy old vinyl and spend much less money, plus theres a lot better shit on the older vinyl (pre 1980 and backwards) You'll be able to pull out shit people have never heard before.
