whateva Tara, I lived in a few places in the Upper East Side and paid only $1100. Not too shabby for Manhattan and it wasn't too small. On the other hand there is that commute into Brooklyn, which just isn't the same and is not as easy. Although, depends on where you are living and working obviously. :)
