    Because the iPod, by far, offers the simplest, most elegant user experience available for any mp3 player anywhere.

    You open iTunes, plug in your iPod and drag songs to it.
    Or if you have enough room - it synchs it automatically.

    It's durable, small, light, beautifully designed and has the best user interface.

    I still have my original 10GB.
    It works great.
    The battery charge is slightly lower - but I still get a good 8 hours out of it.
    I've used it pretty much used it 8 hours a day almost every day since I bought it 3 years ago

    It is The Best MP3 Player.
    Period.
